Credit to Creators
On every page of my website I have used a picture, a logo, a video, something that was created by someone in this world. Some of the photos are mine, some I paid for, but many of them are used under a creative commons license. Meaning, I don’t have to provide accreditation to them for using their photo.
But I don’t feel that is right.
So something unique I am doing for this site is to create a list of links crediting the source of content used. I will include my images in this list so that the list is complete. I hope this helps you find artists whose work you enjoy and it helps them reach new fans. Simply click on their name and it will send you to where I retrieved the content.

- I have permission from The Guild of Ambience to use a clip of their forest video on YouTube as part of the cover on my landing page. It is a 3-hour long ambient sound video that I rather enjoy.
- Rawpixel.com provided the cover image for this page, but I downloaded it from Pexels website.
- Bich Tran provided the cover image on my “So many changes!!” post.
- The image of the Daily Writing Schedule on my “So many changes!!” post is a photo of my personal schedule, taken by me.
- The cover image of Yosemite National Park on the “About Me” page is a photo I took on my wedding day, before we said our vows at Artist Point.
- The photo of me on the “About Me” page is a cropped selfie I took on my way to my friends themed wedding.
- Pixabay provided the cover image for my “Privacy Policy” page, I downloaded it from Pexels website.
- Pixabay also provided the cover image for my “Blog Posts” page, I downloaded it from Pexels website.
- The image of the beautiful sunset I used for the cover image of my “Hello World!” post and my “Contact Me” page was retrieved from Max Pixel.
- The cover image for my mobile landing page was provided by Lum3n.com on Pexels website.
- My logo was made by Kristen Gielecki.
